It’s that time of the year. The classrooms are ready. Backpacks are packed with brand-new school supplies, and children are heading to school. College campuses will soon come to life with eager dreamers—some starting their training, others completing their last year and envisioning life as independent professionals.
Unfortunately, that is not the case for so many abandoned and neglected children in far corners of the world. Many simply hope that today will be better than yesterday, and as a lifelong educator, it breaks my heart.
Yet, as I consider this reality, I feel grateful that there is a group of children for whom the dream of a better day has become a reality. As the school year starts, hundreds of excited and grateful young people are pouring out of the ICC children’s villages around the world and heading to school. They are thankful for the future that education allows them to imagine, and deep inside, they are mindful that their dreams are possible because people like you empower them.
With your selfless support, 37 young people will be able to head to various colleges and universities. From Congo to the Dominican Republic, from Mexico to India, and more, lives are being changed because you care.
Thank you for sharing your love with them. We at ICC pray for these children every day, and we also pray for you. We pray that the Lord will continue blessing you every day as you share your love with His children.
